Pardon our dust!!
I know the meaning of that today. We are ripping apart our office to make way for a more contemporary look to reflect our dedication to remaining the best of the best at what we do. I long for the clean sleek lines of our new space, which will retain the sense of calm and comfortable hominess that we are known for. What I am getting today is dust and noise. We are on skeleton crew to man the phones and to explain and apologize to those unhappy about our one-week closure. No way can we take care of patients and clients this week, but this was a better idea than trying to keep the place open amidst the painters, floor guys, electricians, contractors and subs of every kind.
It has been a year in the planning to get to this day. Honestly the workers are terrific, quiet as is possible given the situation and leaving the cleanest work area I have yet to see at a construction site. The underlying feeling is excited anticipation! I cannot wait!
In a week we will have a grand new entrance with a spectacular wrought iron door that lets in the light. A new retail center will occupy a portion of the old lobby designed to invite shoppers to touch and try out products. A video monitor will hang above a skin care counter instructing those interested in the best way to use and apply skin care for excellent results.
A brand new big screen monitor is being installed on the far end of the lobby to broadcast the latest information on cosmetic procedures. It will double as the information center on events and special promotions.
Our front desk will be replaced with a giant quartz counter to create an interactive space for patients and staff. There will be easy access to our concierges who can take questions and research answers to ensure all of our shoppers, clients and patients are well informed.
In the back of the house, our team will enjoy brighter, lighter, more efficient workspaces with improved climate control. Our team room is getting a new look as well.
Everywhere you will see new furnishings as well as new floor and wall treatments. Gracing the lobby and treatment rooms will be various original works of art by local artists.
On the exterior you will see new colors, new patio and new signage.
All this to highlight our new name and mission:
