Behind the Scenes of CoolSculpting
Summer is quickly approaching, and it’s time to start getting your body ready for the beach! Diet and exercise play a large role in how your body looks but sometimes, you still can’t get rid of that last bit of stubborn fat. I sat down with Kelly Cloud, our Laser Tech and Skin Care Concierge, to talk about her experience with getting CoolSculpting.
When did you get it done? Did you do it multiple times?
I had one treatment done in 2013.
Are you still happy with your results?
Yes, I’m really happy with my results but I’m planning on getting a second treatment to get even better results!
How many cycles? Where?
I had two cycles (applicators) on my lower abdomen- one on each side.
What was your lifestyle like prior to CoolSculpting?
I had been working out a lot, doing Crossfit, and eating really healthy. I was getting frustrated because no matter how much I worked out, the pudge on my lower abdomen wouldn’t go away.
What does it feel like? What was your experience on that day?
It’s kind of like a little pull and a little cold sensation when they place the applicator on the area, but pretty quickly you forget it’s even there. I took a nap during the treatment!
When did you first start to notice a change in your body?
I began to notice gradual results. At the three month mark, I went in for my post photos. Seeing the before and after photos side by side really showed me how much my body had changed in three short months. Once that stubborn layer was gone, I could see that my hard work at the gym was paying off.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of getting CoolSculpting?
First and foremost, the whole CoolSculpting process is easier than you think and it really does work! I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it! Another thing is don’t price shop. It is so important to go to a provider who is experienced with CoolSculpting. Van Dyke Aesthetics was one of the first practices in the Arizona to offer Coolsculpting. It’s also really important to be well-educated about the treatment so you know exactly what to expect before, during and after the treatment. Participating in one of our educational seminars, like the one coming up on April 20th, is a great way to learn more.
As Kelly suggested, a great resource for those considering CoolSculpting is to come to our seminar on April 20th at 3pm or 5pm. Our experts will teach you everything there is to know about CoolSculpting, plus you’ll score discounted pricing at the event! Register here!
